What are you currently studying?
I’m currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Social Work.
What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?
I enjoy working with undergraduate students, because there is nothing that excites me more than for young people to be interested in furthering their education with the hopes of making a better life for themselves and bettering the quality of life for those in their community. I enjoy being a pivotal part in the process of undergraduate students accomplishing their goals and realizing their dreams.
What is the most important advice you would give new students?
The most important advice that I would give to new students is to inform them that college is a life changing, yet rewarding experience. Be sure to stay focused on the ultimate goal of graduation because education is always first, but have some fun and develop long lasting relationships during their time at the university that will be remembered for years to come.
Where is your top study spot on campus?
My top study spot on campus would be a nice, cozy corner in Hodges Library.
Why should students take advantage of the SSC?
I would advise students to take advantage of all of the opportunities and resources afforded to them by the Student Success Center. Surviving college is a journey. Exploring the opportunities and resources granted to them through the Student Success Center will greatly enrich their educational journey.
