Profile

What are you currently studying and how did you choose it?
I am currently a junior in journalism and electronic media. I truly enjoy writing and providing people with news and information.

What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?
I am an undergrad so I love working with my fellow peers!

What is the most important advice you would give new students?
Develop time management skills in order to gain the full experience of college while balancing social activities and school work.

What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place is any men’s or women’s basketball game at Thompson-Boling Arena. It is a great way to take a break in the middle of the week to see the Vols and Lady Vols play basketball. The atmosphere and excitement of the fans reflect the school spirit that UT possesses.

Where is your top study spot on campus?
Anywhere quiet. Whether it is in your dorm room, the stacks in Hodges Library, or the amphitheater beside Humanities, it is important to find a quite place with few distractions.

Why should students take advantage of the SSC?
The staff of the SSC is here to help with anything a student may need. If they do not know the answer, they can direct you where you need to go.
