Profile
What are you currently studying?
I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Biomechanics. My area of interest is the factors that cause women to have higher incidences of knee injuries while playing sports or exercising.
What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?
I enjoy seeing undergraduates have that "aha" moment when working through a difficult subject. It is refreshing to see students take control of their educational experience and to become confident in their abilities in the classroom.
What is the most important advice you would give new students?
Get involved on campus early. The types of clubs on campus are diverse enough for any individual to find something they enjoy. Getting involved allows you to meet people that have the same interests, is a great networking tool, and looks good on a resume.
Why should students take advantage of the SSC?
The SSC has multiple resources to help students succeed including test taking strategies, tutoring, and answers about how to get involved on campus. Plus, it is free!
