What are you currently studying and how did you choose it?
PHD Collaborative Learning in the Educational Psychology department. As an administrator, I chose the collaborative program because the philosophy of collaborative and shared leadership and decision making is consistent with my leadership style. I firmly believe that if members of the team are given opportunity to contribute and provide input, there will be more ownership and accountability to and with each other.
What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?
Energy, challenges and opportunities for students to excel.
What is the most important advice you would give new students?
Build on confidence through discipline and open-mindedness to do what you need to do to succeed.
Where is your top study spot on campus?
Upper floors of Hodges library.
