Specifically, the SSC staff can help you by:
- Serving as a referral for students in your classes or with whom you work who need assistance with study skills, time management, test taking strategies, and other self regulation skill building strategies (Tips for College Students)
- Following up on your First-Year Intervention (FYi) reports with the students earning C or below in your classes (FYI Information specifically for students)
- Presenting programs for students, faculty, or staff that focus on student success issues and strategies (Request a Program)
- Serving as a “visiting instructor” for your class in cases where you are attending conferences, presenting papers, etc. (Contact Stella Bridgeman-Prince)
- Discussing how Supplemental Instruction (SI)/collaborative learning might work with your class (Contact Tiffany Hedges)
- Answering questions concerning undergraduate academic policies and procedures (e.g., Academic Probation, Dismissal, & Appeals)
