Biography
What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?
I love how friendly UT students are! Students bring warmth to even a quick conversation.
What is the most important advice you would give new students?
You’re not alone! It can feel overwhelming to be a new student but know that you’re not the only one feeling that way. Test the waters and see what activities and resources are available — Try out a student club, sign up for a session at the Vol Study Center, or attend an event you wouldn’t normally. Don’t feel pressure to do everything but try out some things to see what works for you.
What is your favorite place on campus?
I love the makerspace in Hodges. It’s exciting to see the fun things people are working on!
Why should students take advantage of the ASC?
Some people think that how we study and learn are habits that are set in stone – it’s not true! Learning is a skill that we can all use help with — whether it’s adjusting how to manage your time, getting organized, or studying more efficiently. The ASC can help you hone your skills to be the best student you can be.
