Biography

What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?I love how UT students come from so many different backgrounds and bring such unique experiences with them. Everyone has their own story, and I enjoy hearing about their goals and dreams. It’s really meaningful to help them think through what they need to succeed and how to take steps toward making those dreams a reality.

What is the most important advice you would give new students?

Don’t wait to ask for help. College is full of new expectations, and no one succeeds alone. Reach out early, talk to your instructors, and take advantage of the support around you. There’s no shame in using resources; that’s what they’re here for.

What is your favorite place on campus?

The Student Union Plaza on a sunny day. There’s always something happening, and I love seeing students gathered, eating, relaxing, or heading to class. It feels like the heart of campus.

Where is your top study spot on campus?

The second floor of Hodges Library. It’s quiet but not too quiet, and the natural light makes it a great space to focus and get into the zone.

Why should students take advantage of the ASC?

Because it’s a space built just for you, whether you’re navigating a tough class, trying to stay on track, or just want to build stronger habits, the ASC has people who are here to listen, support you, and help you move forward, with zero judgment.
