Request a Workshop


Thank you for your interest in a Success Workshop with the Academic Success Center. Workshops are offered Monday through Friday between the hours of 8AM and 6PM EST.  Workshops are 30 minutes or 60 minutes in length. Your workshop location must be reserved through Live25 prior to submitting a request. Please request your workshop at least two weeks in advance.

Start your semester strong! In this workshop, you will evaluate your current habits and learn what neuroscience tells us about habits for success.

You can do math! This session focuses on reframing the way many students approach math and developing effective study strategies

Learn how to gain practical skills to prioritize tasks, organize your schedule, and find balance between academics and personal commitments. Join an Academic Coach with the Academic Success Center for this Vol Success Week workshop!

Join our workshop to learn how to turn failures into stepping stones for success. Discover strategies to bounce back, build resilience, and grow from your experiences. Don’t let setbacks hold you back—learn to thrive through adversity!

If you find tests scary or stressful, you’re not alone! In this workshop, we will learn well-being strategies for different stages of the test-taking process (preparing for the test, day of the test, during the test, after the test, etc.) Each student will leave with a personalized well-being plan ready to use for their next exam!

Learn how to dissect a test and use it to your advantage! In this hands-on workshop, we will practice answering a variety of question types using test-taking strategies like finding context clues and using process of elimation. You’ll leave knowing how to make your tests work for you!

Self-care is not selfish! We’ll walk with you through looking at what nurtures vs. depletes you to support your self-care journey. We’ll also explore ways to make the nourishing habits a regular part of your routine. Taking care of ourselves is a worthy endeavor.

How do you manage your time when it comes to your school and life? Come join an Academic Coach from the Academic Success Center to learn your time management style and how you can create better habits!

Using WOOP, you will set goals and be prepared for when you run into obstacles. This workshop focuses on practicing mindfulness when setting goals.

Do you find yourself constantly putting off tasks until the last minute? Join our interactive workshop designed to help you conquer procrastination. In this session, you’ll learn to identify the root causes of your procrastination and discover what type of procrastinator you are. We’ll guide you in developing techniques to overcome procrastination and enhance your productivity. Don’t let procrastination hold you back any longer – take the first step toward a more focused and efficient you!
