Q&A<\/h3>\n

What is your current program of study and what motivated you to come to UT?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I am in the master\u2019s of Sport Psychology and Motor Behavior program in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences here at UT. I was motivated to join this program because of the amazing faculty, research labs, and the opportunity to gain my CMPC certification.<\/p>\n

What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I love getting to meet students from all over the world and hear about their area of study. I am constantly being enlightened on all the wonderful work being done by students here on campus and the different career paths they will take upon graduating. Being around our incredibly driven and talented student body serves as a constant source of motivation to be the best version of myself.<\/p>\n

What is the most important advice you would give new students?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I would tell students to get involved with as many different things on campus as possible! If there is something that interests them, they should reach out and ask how they can get involved. From helping with research projects, to playing intramural sports, or even volunteering time to different groups or events. This is a great way for them to meet people that will help further their career development while also immersing themselves in the true college experience.<\/p>\n

Why should students take advantage of the VSC<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Vol Study Center is a place students should really look to take advantage of as we offer many different FREE amenities such as printing, coffee, and snacks! While there, students will also get to learn about the various programs we offer to assist them with any and all academic needs. Being around people who are committed to helping students achieve their goals is a great way for them to build their professional network and keep them on track to achieve their academic goals.<\/p>\n

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In my free time I like to play sports, hangout with friends, and cook! I enjoy playing rec league hockey, finding new disc golf courses, and going out bowling or to a pool hall. Oftentimes playing sports and hanging out with friends overlap, but I also enjoy going back home to northern Virginia to visit my friends at their homes and having get-togethers. And I absolutely love to cook and try new recipes that I find online or get from others.<\/p>\n
