What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

I enjoy their hearts and their smarts ~ they are open, dedicated, bold, and bright (and not just when wearing our special shade of orange). That I get to be a part of their journeys, as they navigate campus, classes, and challenges of varied sorts, is extraordinary and a distinct joy!\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the most important advice you would give new students?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

Be gracious with your ever-evolving self.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>Explore new ideas, opportunities, subjects, and strategies. Engage with your\u202f<\/span>Vol Success Team<\/span><\/a>, your professors, and your fellow Volunteers. Stay connected with family and friends. Trust and enjoy YOUR journey.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your favorite place on campus?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

Almost anywhere in, around, or near the Student Union. I absolutely love seeing, feeling, and yes, sometimes hearing the irrepressible Volunteer Spirit. One can never see enough of our special shade of orange or Power Ts or hear enough of our Rocky Top cheers.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Why should students take advantage of the ASC?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

To lift your grades and your spirits! You can meet with your academic coach, learn with your SI leader or study coach, and enjoy free snacks, refreshments, cool study spaces, computer and printer use (5 pages\/day), and a never-ending supply of care, talent, and support!\u202f<\/span>We are fun, available in person and virtually, and fiercely committed to you and your learning and success!<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
