Aiola Gill

Assistant Director


Biography

Aiola Gill is the Assistant Director of Academic & Career Exploration. She works with exploratory first-year and sophomore scholars who are choosing their majors and careers in individual and group settings. Aiola oversees the Peer Career Advisor program in the office. She coordinates and teaches the exploring majors career class and is a first-year studies instructor.

Prior to assuming this role, Aiola was an Intervention Specialist at UNC-Wilmington, where she worked with first-year student retention. 

Aiola is a certified academic life coach through Coach Training EDU. She believes scholars need to be active participants in their academic experience and provides the guidance and support needed on their personal journey to success.

Aiola is from Pogradec, Albania and is passionate about travel, food, social justice and Netflix. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, and two Boston Terriers.
