{"id":213,"date":"2016-05-24T15:01:46","date_gmt":"2016-05-24T19:01:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/career.utk.edu\/CS\/NewSite_TEST\/?page_id=213"},"modified":"2026-07-08T14:49:49","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T18:49:49","slug":"presentation-request","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/studentsuccess.utk.edu\/career\/presentation-request\/","title":{"rendered":"Presentation Request"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please complete this form if you are looking for a Center for Career Development and Academic Exploration staff member or Peer Career Advisor to present to your class, student group, etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><b>Presentation Policies<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p>To ensure effective use of CCDAE staff time and provide an engaging learning experience, student organizations requesting a workshop should anticipate a minimum attendance of <strong>10 students<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p>The requesting organization is responsible for promoting the event and encouraging member attendance. If fewer than 10 students are registered or expected to attend 48 hours before the workshop, the CCDAE may recommend:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>combining with another organization,<\/li>\r\n<li>converting the session into an open campus workshop, or<\/li>\r\n<li>rescheduling for a later date.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>To help us serve as many students as possible, organizations requesting a workshop agree to:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Promote the workshop to members using at least two communication methods (email, GroupMe, Instagram, etc.).<\/li>\r\n<li>Provide an estimated attendance when submitting the request.<\/li>\r\n<li>Notify the CCDAE at least 48 hours in advance if attendance is expected to fall below 10 students.<\/li>\r\n<li>Have an organization officer present for the duration of the workshop.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Organizations that repeatedly request workshops with low attendance or no-shows may have future requests deprioritized until attendance expectations are consistently met.<\/p>\r\n<p><span data-teams=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Requests must be submitted at least <strong>two weeks prior to the preferred date<\/strong>.
