Preparing for a job fair ahead of time will ensure a successful experience and outcome. What do you want employers to know about you?<\/li>\n<li>Pick out your business casual or business professional <a href=\"https:\/\/studentsuccess.utk.edu\/career\/students\/develop-career-tools\/professional-clothing-options\/\">outfit<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"box-light card gray2 tx brd-\"><\/p>\n<h3>During<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Check in when your arrive and make a nametag<\/li>\n<li>Plan your course of action my reviewing a map or employer locations; find the employers you want to talk to first<\/li>\n<li>Take a lap around the fair and ease into it<\/li>\n<li>Introduce yourself with confidence and authenticity- employers are here to meet YOU!<\/li>\n<li>Provide your resume, ask any questions you may have, and actively listen to the recruiter<\/li>\n<li>Stay organized- jot down notes, recruiter names, and\/or follow up instructions<\/li>\n<li>Obtain business cards if applicable<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an open mind.
