Consider the purpose of your photo and the type of job or internship you\u2019re most likely to seek. Here are some helpful tips as you plan your outfit:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Solid colors and darker neutral shades look best<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Avoid wearing distracting patterns; If wearing a patterned shirt or tie, pair with a solid jacket or sweater<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Accessorize thoughtfully; try not to draw attention away from face<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Consider the type of dress required for the industry you\u2019re most likely to work in<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Check out our <a href=\"https:\/\/studentsuccess.utk.edu\/career\/students\/develop-career-tools\/professional-clothing-options\/\">Professional Clothing website<\/a> for more information. If you need attire, you can visit <a href=\"https:\/\/studentlife.utk.edu\/dos\/smokeys-closet\/\">Smokey\u2019s Closet<\/a> for free professional dress. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2>How to Access the Photo Booth<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Center for Career Development &amp; Academic Exploration\u2019s photo booth is <strong>free<\/strong> and <strong>simple to use<\/strong>! The Photo Booth is open to students, faculty, and staff year-round. <\/span>Check-in at the front desk during our office hours (Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm) to have a staff member or Peer Career Advisor assist you with using the Photo Booth. <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You\u2019ll probably spend less than 15 minutes from start to finish. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Everyone is <em>required<\/em> to have a Center for Career Development and Academic Exploration representative with you to utilize the Photo Booth.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Group, Organization, and Course Requests<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you teach an academic class, lead a student organization, or head a campus group that would like to schedule a date and time for all your students\/members to utilize the photo booth, you can reserve a date using our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/studentsuccess.utk.edu\/career\/photo-booth-request-form\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Request Form<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the preferred date. A staff member will follow up with you to confirm your scheduled time and provide further logistical information.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Appropriate Use<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The UTK photo booth is provided to students and other users for the purpose of professional headshots. Photos must not contain inappropriate gestures, props or nudity. The CCDAE has administrative access to all photos and may periodically review them to ensure proper content. Inappropriate use may result in referral to Student Conduct &amp; Community Standards.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Accommodations<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Access for all users is important to us. If you need an accommodation with the booth, we are happy to help.
