First-Generation Ambassadors serve as student leaders on campus and are trained to provide support to first-generation initiatives and first-generation scholars at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What Are the Responsibilities of FGAs?<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>First-Generation Ambassadors provide campus outreach, mentorship, and administrative support to First-Generation Initiatives. First-generation ambassadors are required to complete weekly office hours for drop-in mentorship, assist in campus outreach, programs, and workshops, and attend biweekly team meetings to receive ongoing training.
