Dr. Sarah Binion is a Teaching Assistant Professor in University Honors.<\/p>\n

A Tennessee native, Dr. Binion obtained her bachelor’s in Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga before receiving her master\u2019s in Forensic Science and a PhD in Biomedical Research from Marshall University.<\/p>\n

She has experience in both academic and industry contexts through research and instructor positions and her work at the Kentucky State Police and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.<\/p>\n

Dr. Binion has various publications in high-profile journals, as well as numerous presentations, both nationally and internationally. Her love of teaching came from mentoring in the lab during her PhD.<\/p>\n

She fosters an environment of conversation and collaboration within the classroom and hopes that her background in STEM provides a unique perspective for students in research and problem-solving.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
