In 2019-2020, the Honors & Scholars Representative Board will commence its second full year. In addition to planning events for the entire H&S community, the Board exists to bring student concerns to the H&S staff. The board consists of one representative from each program’s Council or Board, one representative from the H&S Multicultural Inclusion Council, a Secretary appointed by the Program Directors, and a Chair selected by the Program Directors.<\/p>\n

If you are a current member in good standing of 1794 Scholars, Chancellor’s Honors, Haslam Scholars, or Honors Leadership who is not also a president or chair of your program’s Council or Board and will have completed a minimum of one year in your honors program by the commencement of the fall semester, you are eligible to apply. Strong candidates will have strong leadership and communication skills and a desire to promote community within Honors & Scholars.<\/p>\n

Applications are due April 22, 2019<\/strong> with selection to take place that week. The selected Chair will be expected to meet with Program Directors and other council members the following week.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
