Biography

Lindsay Hansen oversees the New Vol Experience which includes Orientation, Welcome Week, and oversight of UT’s Orientation Leader program.

Hansen’s background is in higher education and student affairs, particularly administering and overseeing programs to help students through transition. She has experience in campus activities, residential programs, new student programs, and has worked on all types of college campuses – small private colleges, a community college, an Ivy League university, and large, public flagship and/or land grant campuses.

“A student’s belief in themself and their ability to succeed in the classroom is integral to their success in college, and their ability to contribute positively to their communities. I do this work to help individuals learn about themselves within the context of others, reach their goals, and see themselves as a valuable part of their community.”
