Ali Smith is the Acting Director for Special Events for the Division of Student Success.

She works closely with each Student Success department to assist with planning and coordinating student-focused events that align with division and departmental goals and support student engagement with the Division. 

Prior to assuming this role, Ali was the Director of Student Activities at Carson-Newman University where she implemented campus-wide programming to support student belonging and development. 

In her free time, Ali enjoys visiting the lake, relaxing with her dog and cat, and playing trivia (badly) with friends.
