Biography

Specializes in Sociology, programming, outreach, and student communications.

What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?

As someone who attended UT as an undergraduate, I am able to mentor and guide these current undergrads by helping them navigate the campus community; both academically and professionally. I am a true Vol for Life so witnessing our undergraduates begin to show pride as a fellow Vol is the absolute best!

What is the most important advice you would give new students?

College is about finding yourself; what you enjoy, what motivates you, and what type of person you want to become in the near future. Change is destined to happen; embrace it, be patient with yourself, move to your own beat.

What is your favorite place on campus?

Hodges Library, I can go there when I want to be social or if I need a quiet place to work.

Where is your top study spot on campus?

The computer lab on the top floor of HSS. Not too many students know it exists and I’m able to work on a desktop and my laptop at the same time.

Why should students take advantage of the SSC?

The office is here to ensure success! There are tons of free resources and programs offered for students. Students are only here a few years so it’s important to take advantage of everything you possibly can…did I mention for free?
