Krystal Cooper, Ph.D.

Academic Coach

Biography

What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?

I love the fact that scholars come with so many intriguing personalities from different walks of life, yet their paths are a blank canvas awaiting inspiration.

What is the most important advice you would give to new students?

Find your passion and everything else will follow. “What you think matters. What you say matters. What you do matters. You matter!!"

What is your favorite place on campus?

The student union is my favorite place on campus because it is a one stop shop for all my favorite things - food, fun, friends, and fellowship.

Why should students take advantage of the ASC?

Nothing in life is free, well besides the many valuable resources and life lessons you can learn from the ASC. The ASC is there to help scholars prepare, plan, and network which are all essential to their academic journey.
