Megan King

Academic Coach

What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?

The best part of working with undergrads is being able to help them grow, find direction, and achieve success in their life.  Each student is unique and has a different perspective and story to tell.  As a coach, I can’t wait to see how that narrative turns out!

What is the most important advice you would give to new students?

As a college student at the University of Tennessee you are taking vital steps towards your future.  Even if you are not yet sure of what the future holds, it is important to realize the possibilities and the choices in front of you.  Don’t be afraid to ask for help, try something new, or fail.  Remember that the best way to predict your future is to create it!

What is your favorite place on campus?

McClung Museum.  I love being surrounded by the stories of our past.

Why should students take advantage of the ASC?

At the Academic Success Center we are dedicated to helping students in all aspects of their academic lives.  We care about our students and genuinely want to see them succeed!
