What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?
Hearing their stories. There are so many different students with so many backgrounds, beliefs, views, and passions. I learn at least one thing every day from the students who come through my office.
What is the most important advice you would give new students?
Explore campus, get involved, make friends, converse with faculty and staff, explore Knoxville, and ask for help if you need it!
What is your favorite place on campus?
The Melrose courtyard is a great place to sit down and study, reflect, or read a book. The foliage and chirping birds never ceases to make me want to take a deep breath. That is, until my allergies kick in.
Why should students take advantage of the ASC?
All these free resources at the ASC can help you no matter if you are in your first semester or your last! We want to see you succeed and enjoy meeting so many different UT students!
