Gilman International Scholarship Enhancement Award

The Gilman International Scholarship is the preeminent U.S. State Department scholarship for undergraduate study abroad. Whereas the Fulbright is the preeminent State Department fellowship for post-graduate study, research, or teaching abroad. This award supports the strategic experiences/initiatives of our Gilman scholars looking to lay the foundation for a Fulbright application.

 

Gilman Enhancement Award Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, an applicant must be:

  • A citizen of the United States;
  • A UT undergraduate student in good standing;
  • A Gilman International Scholarship recipient, providing proof of attendance to a credit/internship bearing program abroad
  • Committed to applying to the Fulbright US Student Program
