Attend a <a href=\"https:\/\/studentsuccess.utk.edu\/urf\/getting-started\/\"><em>Getting Started in Undergraduate Research &amp; Fellowships<\/em><\/a> workshop from 12 &#8211; 1 PM or 3 &#8211; 4 PM in the Mary Greer Room, Hodges Library 258.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><div class=\"box-light card tennessee orange tx brd-\"><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\">Registration for Discovery Day will open on Tuesday, August 11th and will close on Tuesday, September 8, at noon.<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<\/div><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"391\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6082\" src=\"https:\/\/studentsuccess.utk.edu\/urf\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/09\/Discovery-Day-3.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/studentsuccess.utk.edu\/urf\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/09\/Discovery-Day-3.png 750w, https:\/\/studentsuccess.utk.edu\/urf\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/09\/Discovery-Day-3-300x156.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Registration Requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Finalized abstract<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">UTK\/UTIA research mentor\/advisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Post-Registration Requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Upload your finalized poster and abstract to Symposium by Tuesday, September 15, 2026<\/strong> (Symposium is the virtual repository for all Discovery Day projects)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.utk.edu\/posters\/printing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Print poster<\/a>. Poster dimensions are requested to be no larger than 36\u201d x 42\u201d regardless of horizontal or vertical orientation (so either 36\u201d tall x 42\u201d wide or 36\u201d wide x 42\u201d tall).
