\"\"<\/p>\n

The Gaither Junior Fellows Program<\/a> at the Carnegie Endowment is designed to provide substantive work experience for students who are seriously interested in international affairs.<\/p>\n

Approximately 10-12 students will be hired to work as employees at the Carnegie Endowment in Washington, DC on a full-time basis for a period of one year.<\/p>\n

Fellows provide research assistance to scholars working on the Carnegie Endowment’s projects: nuclear policy, democracy and rule of law, energy and climate issues, Middle East studies, Asia politics and economics, South Asian politics, Southeast Asian politics, Japan studies, and Russian and Eurasian affairs.<\/p>\n

Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Graduating seniors or students who have graduated during the last academic year. Anyone who has started graduate studies is ineligible for consideration (except in cases where the student has completed a joint bachelor\u2019s\/master\u2019s degree program).<\/li>\n
  • Minimum 3.7 GPA; higher is strongly preferred<\/li>\n
  • Strong undergraduate research experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Application Process:<\/strong>
    \nWhile UT does not facilitate a Gaither Junior Fellowship campus selection process at this time, all students must make an appointment with URF in order to access the application and discuss their plans.
