{"id":138,"date":"2023-01-31T13:38:56","date_gmt":"2023-01-31T18:38:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/studentsuccess.utk.edu\/ve\/?page_id=138"},"modified":"2026-02-27T16:29:26","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T21:29:26","slug":"faculty-fellows","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/studentsuccess.utk.edu\/ve\/faculty-fellows\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty Fellows"},"content":{"rendered":"<hr class=\"orange-hash\">\n<p>As part of the chancellor\u2019s goal of an unparallelled student experience, the Volunteer Experience Faculty Fellows Program is a comprehensive, university-wide initiative led by the <a href=\"https:\/\/studentsuccess.utk.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Division of Student Success<\/a> to promote student well-being and success in the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Three faculty members, appointed by DSS, provide leadership to the fellows through a yearlong experience where they learn about different evidenced-based pedagogical strategies that support student success through well-being. <\/p>\n<p>The faculty directors and fellows, who come from units across campus, work together to build networks and develop resources that the fellows share with faculty in their units and throughout the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"orange-hash\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Leadership on This Project <\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/studentsuccess.utk.edu\/krystyne-savarese\/\">Krystyne Savarese<\/a>, Associate Vice Provost and Executive Director, Center for Career Development &amp;
