Fall Orientation Registration is OPEN!

Here’s how you’ll register:

  1. Confirm your enrollment with Undergraduate Admissions

  2. Log into your Go Vols Portal and scroll down to the “Orientation Registration” section

  3. Pay OR defer your $240 Orientation fee

  4. From there, click on the “Orientation” tab to complete the registration form

    • If you are registering from your phone, you will need to click “MENU” at the top right corner and click “Orientation” from the list of options

By submitting the registration form, students are registering for all components of Orientation. Once officially registered, students will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours that provides a high-level overview of Orientation.

Can I defer the Orientation fee?

All confirmed students are eligible to defer the fee. Just fill out the deferral form found on your Go Vols portal!

Yes! All students are eligible to defer the $240 fee to their first semester bill. Just fill out the deferral form on your Go Vols portal.

Absolutely! All you have to do is make sure their names and contact information are included in the “Family Member Information” section of your Orientation registration.

If they are not included in your registration, they will not receive Orientation emails.

The $240 fee covers ALL components of Orientation. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Vol 101 technology fees
  • Big Orange Welcome
    • Select meals
    • UT swag 
    • Weekend trips
    • Transportation
    • Other Big Orange Welcome experiences

The Orientation fee is non-refundable. If you are no longer attending UT, and would like to put in a request to receive a refund, please contact the Office of First-Year Experience.
