Yes! All incoming students (both first-years and transfers) must complete all sections of Vol 101 by the first day of classes.
All students who have registered for Orientation will receive an email in early June with the link to complete Vol 101! You will log into Vol 101 with your UT NetID and password.
Failure to complete Vol 101 before the deadline may result in a hold being placed on your account. This hold may prevent you from making changes to your schedule and/or registering for future semesters.
Nope! You will have the opportunity to save your progress and return to complete remaining sections at another time.
Please contact First-Year Experience directly at firstyear@utk.edu or 865-974-4546. We will do everything we can to make the necessary accommodations.
