Spring Orientation Registration is OPEN!

Orientation Registration is currently open for new students who have confirmed their enrollment for Spring 2026!

Here’s how you’ll register:

  1. Confirm your enrollment with Undergraduate Admissions

  2. Log into your Go Vols Portal and scroll down to the “Orientation Registration” section

  3. Pay OR defer your $240 Orientation fee

  4. Find the “Orientation” tab in your Go Vols Portal and complete the registration form

Can I defer the Orientation fee?

All confirmed students are eligible to defer the orientation fee to their upcoming semester bill. Just choose the “deferral form” option in your Go Vols portal, review the electronic form, e-sign your name, and click “SUBMIT” to be automatically routed to the Orientation Registration form!

You’ll see the $240 charge once your tuition bill is posted to your account.


Registration FAQs

Yes! All students are eligible to defer the $240 fee to their first semester bill. Just click the “deferral form” option on your Go Vols portal and fill out the electronic form.

Absolutely! All you have to do is make sure their names and contact information are included in the “Family Member Information” section of your Orientation registration.

If they are not included in your registration, they will not receive Orientation emails.

The $240 fee covers ALL components of Orientation. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Vol 101 technology fees
  • Vol 103 materials and meals
  • Big Orange Welcome
    • UT swag 
    • Weekend trips
    • Transportation
    • Other Big Orange Welcome experiences

The Orientation fee is non-refundable. If you are no longer attending UT, and would like to put in a request to receive a refund, please contact the Office of First-Year Experience.
