Honors Coach

Biography

Sophie is continuing her work with Honors education and joining the University of Tennessee Knoxville as an Honors Coach. Prior to this role, she worked with the John Martinson Honors College at Purdue University and focused on supporting second, third, and fourth-year students. Her specialties include meaningful networking, resume building, and leadership development. 

She holds a BS in Psychology from Appalachian State University with a concentration in Social Science and a minor in Religious Studies. As a Georgia-native, Sophie is eager to be closer to home and back in the mountains. In her free time, she enjoys reading, antiquing, live music, and spending time with her cat, Fitzgerald. 

Sophie is the honors coach for the Haslam College of Business, College of Communication and Information Sciences, the Baker School, and the College of Arts & Sciences – Social Science division (e.g., Psychology, Political Science)
