Biography
Kaitlyn Smith works with University Honors as the Graduate Assistant for Haslam Leadership Scholars.
Her responsibilities include:
- Assisting with planning and facilitation of HALS 107
- Assisting with event planning for the Haslam Leadership Scholars program
- Providing administrative support for the Haslam Leadership Scholars program
- Planning and implementing service opportunities for the Haslam Leadership Scholars program
Born and raised in Canton, Georgia, Kaitlyn attended Reinhardt University to pursue her love of music. During her time at Reinhardt, she developed her passion for music education and discovered she enjoyed working with undergraduate students. She is thrilled to slightly shift gears and combine her love of music with that of higher education. Outside of academics, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and photography!

Education
Kaitlyn is a master’s student in the Master of Music in Choral Conducting program at the University of Tennessee. She graduated from Reinhardt University with her Bachelor of Music Education (concentration in voice).
