Peer coaches will connect with first-year student scholars and provide coaching, mentoring social activities, and academic support to promote success. With this opportunity, peer coaches will gain leadership development experience to support their peers through the college experience’s critical first year.
The program will select 20 – 25 peer coaches, who will receive a $1,000 stipend in the summer, fall, and spring semesters.
Peer Coaching Requirements
| Assigned a family of five to 10 first-year students to mentor and orient to UT | Coordinate four social gatherings the first six weeks of the semester |
