What is the UT Success Academy?
UT Success Academy enhances the undergraduate experience by creating and supporting access and engagement opportunities for student scholars through an innovative four-year cohort experience focused on empowering each student to discover, connect, and lead through their strengths. All first-year admitted students may participate in the program, which was originally designed to maximize Black and Hispanic men’s transition to college.
UT’s academic-support initiatives champion the success of every scholar, including ones that—based on current data — substantially benefit from personal engagement and community building.
