Dr. Cheri Green serves as the Assistant Director for Strategic Initiatives within the
Division of Student Success. In this capacity, Cheri will assist in ensuring the execution of the Vol Edge program, overseeing key project milestones, vendor relationships, and contributing to event planning and outreach initiatives.

Prior to assuming her current position, Dr. Green served as a Career Coach at the Center for Career Development and Academic Exploration. Her professional journey also encompasses several years dedicated to training and professional development.

A proud native of Knoxville, Cheri brings a wealth of academic qualifications to her role, holding an Ed.D. in Adult Education, an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration and Supervision, and a BS in Public Relations.
