Division of Student Success

Student Success Express

Building on efforts to eliminate barriers and support scholars’ exploration and growth, the Division of Student Success offers Student Success Express, an initiative that expands access to essential resources and services.

How it works

Through extended weekday hours, Student Success Express provides greater flexibility for students to engage with academic advising, tutoring, career development, One Stop, and other key support services throughout the semester.

Students are encouraged to visit the Ground Floor of Hodges Library from 5 to 7 p.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to meet with a Student Success staff member, discuss their needs, and develop a personalized plan for success. Various offerings will be available from Student Success offices and campus partners:

  • Meet with a Student Success staff member to have an informal discussion about school, academic needs, and other support-related topics.
  • Chat with One Stop representatives to answer financial questions and identify next step solutions.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments for more specialized support, as needed.
  • Engage in a variety of workshops. Check out the full schedule below or on Vol Connect.
