Student Success Express

To eliminate barriers and support scholars’ exploration and growth, the Division of Student Success introduces Student Success Express, an initiative designed to provide expanded access to essential resources and services.

Through this initiative, the division holds extended weekday hours throughout the semester, ensuring students have greater flexibility to engage with academic advising, tutoring, career development, and other support services.

Scholars are invited to the Hodges Library Ground Floor as well as Room G020 from 5-8 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdayo meet with a DSS staff member to discuss their needs and determine the best plan of action.

Walk-ins are encouraged for casual conversation regarding academic needs and other support-related issues. Appointments are available and highly encouraged for specialized support from coaches to advising specialists.

Student Success Express team members will not be able to give you advice or support regarding issues such as financial aid, tuition and payments, and/or academic costs.

What Will Be Offered?

Various offerings will be available from Student Success offices during Student Success Express. These offerings include:

  • Meeting with a Student Success staff member to have an informal discussion about school, academic needs, and/or other support-related topics.
  • Scheduling of follow-up appointments for more specialized support, as needed.
  • Various workshops will be provided each month (continue checking in for the schedule)

  • Scheduling an advising appointment or getting connected to an advisor or advising unit
  • Technology for Salesforce, DARS, and uTrack, as well as “Plan Ahead” for registration
