Honors and Scholars Programs is hosting a UT Honors Study Abroad Trip to Oxford, England. During the 2015 2nd summer session (July 3rd โ 26) students will be engaged in an intensive three-week study in residence at Oxford University. ย Students will be enrolled inย UNHO 347: โA Tragic Sense of Life and Death: Human Dilemmas & the Quest for Meaningโ (3 honors course credits). The trip will include private tours and trips toย museums and landmarks throughout the area. The instructor and leader for the trip isย Dr. Timothy Hulsey, Associate Provost of the Honors and Scholars Programs.
- Private, sunset tour of Stonehenge
- Visits to Bath, Salisbury Cathedral, and Jane Austenโs House
- Visits to Tate Museum and the British Museum
- Shakespeare play at the Globe Theater
The course is interdisciplinary and team-taught, involving students and faculty from three different university honors programs, as well as Oxford faculty and international experts. Complete details of the trip and application is available atย UT Study Abroad.
