Kerry Guiseppe

Admissions Coordinator

Biography

Kerry Guiseppe is excited to join the University Honors staff as the Admissions Coordinator.  She holds a Master of Science in Ecology and Environmental Science from the University of Maine where she studied the effects of herbicide use in clear-cuts on ant communities.  She completed a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University.

Kerry’s career has spanned multiple states and environments.  She enjoyed working with the non-profit Trees New York in New York City, the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish in Santa Fe, the University of Maine in Orono and the National Park Service in Louisiana. Most recently Kerry worked at the University of South Carolina as a program coordinator for Carolinas Integrated Sciences and Assessments in the Geography Department.

Kerry moved to Knoxville with her husband and two children in 2019.  As a family they enjoy trips to the beach, mountains and sporting events.  She spends her free time experimenting in the kitchen, reading, and enjoying her rescue dog.
