Steven “Cheppo” Cheppo serves as the program director of special events for the Division of Student Success. He works closely with division leadership and each department to deliver on high-quality programs and events from small receptions to Torch Night, one of the longest standing traditions on UT’s campus.

Cheppo has a variety of event planning and management experience from his previous roles working in UT’s New Student Orientation and Florida State University’s Student Activities department.

Cheppo has a BS in biology from Bellarmine University and an MS in higher education from Florida State University.
