Join us for Vol Success Week, a week-long series of events for students to engage with academic resources to enhance their success and prepare for mid-terms. This semester’s series will be held from September 23 – 28!

The week will offer numerous opportunities for students to learn resource awareness, academic resilience, and well-being while participating in signature events.

Attendees are encouraged to use the “Big Orange Welcome” guide within the Vol Connect app to stay up to date on Vol Success Week events.


Brewing Success

Enjoy a free beverage from the Keoke Coffee Truck and meet with Academic Success Coaches to support your success during midterms!


Cyber Scavenger Hunt: Card Pickup

10 am – 12 pm
Ped Walkway

Pick up your question cards today. These cards will aid you in learning about helpful academic resources available to you! Then, show your filled-out card on Friday, September 27 for a prize!


Majors Fair: Make a Major Discovery

10:30 am – 1:30 pm
Student Union Ballroom

Exploring different majors? Then come out and connect with various college and majors on campus! You’ll be able to speak one-on-one with majors, hear informative panels on varied industries, and attend change-of-major information sessions.


UTSA Board Game Night

6 – 8 pm

Members of the UT Success Academy are invited to come out and destress and connect with one another over a friendly board game night!

Discovery Day

Session I: 10 am – 12 pm; Session II: 1 – 3 pm

Come explore what’s possible when you see the incredible impact UT undergraduate researchers are having on the world around them! Plus, find out ways on how you can get more involved with research.


Trivia Resourses & Jenga

How to Be Successful in Your Math Course

4 – 5 pm

You can do math! This workshop focuses on teaching you how to reframe the way you approach math and how to develop effective study strategies.

Delving into a Rich Tapestry: An Honors AI Writing Workshop

Don’t miss Speed Coaching, where you can engage in short, meaningful conversations with coaches from around the Division of Student Success. The more coaches you talk to, the bigger the prize you can redeem! It’s a fun and rewarding way to gain valuable insights and support for your academic journey.


Vols Abroad Fair Breakout Room: Gaining Experience at Home and Abroad

12 – 3 pm

Join us for some engaging, hands-on activities to discover the impact of study abroad on your career development, brainstorm how to discuss your upcoming study abroad trips with employers and learn how to find other experiences like internships!
