Rocky Top Scholars is a comprehensive, cohort-based program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, designed to support UT Promise, Tennessee Pledge, and Flagship scholarship recipients from their first semester through graduation.
Through structured academic support, mentorship, and intentional engagement opportunities, Rocky Top Scholars ensures students not only succeed academically, but also grow personally and prepare for life beyond UT.

Who Rocky Top Scholars serves
Rocky Top Scholars serves students who receive one of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s signature scholarships. Participation is not eligibility-based and there is no separate application, if you receive a Flagship, UT Promise, or Tennessee Pledge award, you are a Rocky Top Scholar.
Participation in Rocky Top Scholars is required to maintain these scholarships, so the program is built to keep you supported and on track from your first semester through graduation.
