What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?
College students are in such a unique position to dream, learn, and grow. I enjoy hearing about the goals students have for themselves and walking alongside them as they overcome challenges and imagine ways forward to achieving those goals.
What is the most important advice you would give new students?
There are so many opportunities at UT to explore. Find a club, organization, or group that relates to something you are interested in. Choose the places and people that give you life and support you. Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help!
What is your favorite place on campus?
The Hodges Library!
Why should students take advantage of the ASC?
Having someone who can listen and support you during your time at UT can make the journey feel a little less daunting and like you are not alone! At the Academic Success Center you will find coaches willing to listen and offer resources to support you, so it is definitely worth taking advantage of.
