Professional Academic Coach

Q&A

What makes you excited to work with UT undergrad students?

I’m excited to see what drives students toward their goals. I believe everyone has particular interests and motivations, and seeing students uncover those interests is incredibly rewarding.

What is the most important advice you would give new students?

Sit down and write out a goal at the start of each semester. When starting out, simply passing your classes is a great goal. When you’ve gotten used to college, dream big!

What is your favorite place on campus?

The quiet study floors at Hodges Library are so cozy! I love working surrounded by books and students.

Why should students take advantage of the ASC?

Talking with a coach helps ground problems and make an actionable plan that relieves stress.
