LaDawna Williams

Biography

What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?

I like that I can help guide students in designing how they want to achieve success!

What is the most important advice you would give new students?

College is an opportunity to invest in yourself. There are so many resources that students can take advantage of to help build or enhance skills that will prepare for their future. Do not be afraid to ask for help along the way and stay ready so you don’t have to get ready!!

What is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus would be Frieson Black Cultural Center. There are so many events that are hosted by FBCC. Frieson Fridays are one of my favorite events as it is another way to fellowship after a long week. There are also study rooms that are available there too!

Why should students take advantage of the ASC?

We want students to be successful, PERIOD. There are so many services including Peer Learning Assistant Study Sessions and Supplemental Instruction that students can incorporate to help them excel in their academics and there are great study space snacks (wink!) on the 3rd floor of Greve Hall too!
