Vol Study Center


The Vol Study Center offers study space, free printing and snacks/refreshments, study sessions, SI (Supplemental Instruction), and group studyServices are offered by undergraduate students who are trained to assist peers in optimal and efficient learning strategies.  

Our Mission: At the Vol Study Center, we believe that Vols who study together, succeed together. By fostering a collaborative learning environment, we empower students to excel academically through peer-led support, free resources, and shared success. Our mission is to create a thriving community where students uplift one another, utilizing academic resources early and often to achieve their fullest potential–because Vols help Vols.

Our Vision: Our vision is to reshape the academic experience by fostering a culture where collaboration and support drive success. We aim to empower students with the confidence and resources to overcome academic challenges, shifting mindsets about difficult courses and encouraging a proactive approach to learning. Ultimately, we strive to be the cornerstone of student success, where every Vol has the opportunity to reach their highest potential.

Strong Hall, Room 102

  • Monday – Thursday (8am – 5pm)
  • Friday (8am – 4:30pm)

Hodges Library, North Commons, Room 220K

  • Monday – Thursday (9am – 8pm)
  • Friday (9am – 4pm)
  • Starting Sunday, September 7, we will open on Sundays! (12pm – 6pm)

  • Sunday – Friday (8am – 9pm | Dependent on scheduled appointments.)
