In addition to serving as the inaugural Volunteer Experience faculty director, Sally B. Hunter holds a clinical faculty role in the Department of Child and Family Studies, where she also serves as the Coordinator of Undergraduate Advising and Student Support. Sally regularly teaches undergraduate courses in Lifespan Human Development and Parenting/Family Interaction. She is passionate about creating and sustaining structures that support students’ academic success and has been recognized for these efforts by NACADA, TennACADA, and the Chancellor’s Excellence in Advising/Mentoring award. Dr. Hunter’s work with the Division of Student Success focuses on enhanced integration of well-being practices in UTK’s classrooms.
