Summer Research Scholars (SRS)

Are you doing undergraduate research or creative activity at UT this summer?

Whether you’re planning to do your undergraduate research or creative activity at UT this summer as a volunteer, for pay, or for academic credit, the Summer Research Scholars Program is here to support you.

The Summer Research Scholars Program provides professional development opportunities and social networking activities throughout the summer. All UTK students and those visiting from other schools engaged in undergraduate research, a creative project, or pursuing a competitive fellowship can participate in Summer Research Scholars — regardless of funding source or formal program affiliation. At the end of the summer, those who participated in this program can present their summer research or creative activity at the Summer Research Scholars Symposium. If you want to participate this summer, please register with our office.

The Summer Research Poster Symposium for 2025 will take place on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Further details and the 2025 SRS Calendar will be updated by the end of March.
