Henry Humble — Editor-in-Chief

Editor-in-Chief Henry Humble is a third-year Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology (BCMB) student at UT with research interests in protein engineering and signaling particularly in the context of cancer.
Following graduation, he plans to pursue an MD/PhD through an MSTP program. At UT, Henry works in the Barrera Lab investigating the intracellular region of EphA2, a receptor tyrosine kinase, and how its interactions with the plasma membrane regulate downstream oncogenic signaling. He has also conducted research in the Singh Lab at Washington University in St. Louis, where he explored the intrinsically disordered nature of the CAR intracellular region to define the role of sequence context and help inform the design of next-generation CAR T-cell therapies.
