Biography

What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?

I love being a part of a student’s academic journey. I feel so privileged to be able to watch students develop academically, personally and socially throughout their time on campus.

What is the most important advice you would give new students?

Be open-minded! In your time at UT, you will be exposed to new experiences, ideas, cultures, and points of view. Always try to have an open mind and a positive attitude. By letting go of preconceived ideas you can truly broaden your understanding of the world around you.

What is your favorite place on campus?

I love Hodges Library. No matter what time of day or day of the week, the library is humming with energy. If you want a quiet study nook, or prefer a more communal space, Hodges has a space for everyone!

Why should students take advantage of the ASC?

Success is not a fixed destination, it’s an ongoing journey. No matter where you are in your academic journey, the Academic Success Center has resources that can help you reach your goals and milestones. While your definition of success may change, the Academic Success Center will be here to help you along the way!
