What do you enjoy most about working with UT undergrads?

Building relationships with students and helping them to find and practice agency in their educations. It is incredibly rewarding to see students grow into confident and capable learners.

What is the most important advice you would give new students?

College is an exciting and unique time in your lives. You’ll form friendships and values that will become the foundations of much of your lives. Lean into it, be greedy with it. Take advantage of the wealth of knowledge and wisdom around you. Take advantage of the social and athletic opportunities around you. Use these four years to explore and learn about yourself. And, take academic risks!

What is your favorite place on campus?

The UT Gardens – great place for lunch and a walk.

Why should students take advantage of the ASC?

ASC coaches and staff have the professional knowledge, educational resources, and campus connections to help students develop and practice the skills and habits they need to achieve their academic and learning goals. Everybody needs support and a little lifting up now and then and we’re here to do that.
